I took the  PMP Project Management training a few months ago and got my PMP certificate.

I would like to review what I have learned and share it with you. The plan is to elaborate on the entire knowledge framework of the PMP as I understand it. Do this as an individual learning project. I hope to write a little bit each day, and I hope to finish the whole process.

CSDN,a platform, is mainly about technical skills.But in fact there are a lot of people, especially women who do the same as I do in an industry.In fact we are not only interested in technology.Or in the opposite way,weare good at technical descriptions. We may like a wide range of things, but it’s hard to go deeper. We like to be challenged and learn new techniques.But we’re not good enough because of certain limitations.But we have our own desires.We want to do our own boss.We’re willing to be a bottom of the barrel code all the time.So I think some systematic learning in scientific management is a good way to think in a non-traditional way.For example, go for a PMP training course and get a project management certificate. I’m here to make a brief introduction to the PMP knowledge system based on my understanding. Welcome to more correction. Welcome to more guidance from seniors.

According to the PM BOOK of PMI, projects are divided into five main processes.They are initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.

My review will also focus on each of these 5 processes, documenting what I know about each process.

1. Background knowledge on project management

This section provides background knowledge on project management.They are the development of project management, skimming knowledge, the concept of a project, the difference between a project and an operation, the relationship between the type of organizational structure of a company and the remit of the project manager.

  • The initiation process

Top priority: The project charter Business case.

The concept:How to do it. From the business case.The project charter. The importance of the charter.Key information that must be included.Examples of project charters.

  • Planning Coverage: Scope; Time; Cost; Quality; Human resources; Communication; Risk

This planning process requires consideration and planning in terms of the above dimensions.  

Scope: Requirements (WBS); Documentation (WBS); Requirements (WBS); Timing: Schedule (Network diagram); Costs: Cost estimates; Depreciation algorithms; Contingency reserves: Communication: Communication matrix ; Stakeholder classification Management Risk: Risk forecasting ; Assessment ; Response Procurement: Contract types ; Procurement considerations Stakeholders: Analysis to identify all stakeholders ; Classify and treat them separately

  • Managing project work; implementing quality assurance; and team management and building.  Managing the team is at the heart of this process. Only leading the team to execute the plan and complete the deliverable on time and with quality is the ultimate goal of this process.    
  • Monitoring: In fact, this activity is carried out throughout the process. Each process needs to be monitored to ensure that everything is being carried out according to plan. If there is a change or variation, how to adjust it?For example, going through the process. Overall change control is the focus.   
  • Closure Contract; administrative closure. Lessons learned; Organize process asset updates Customer satisfaction surveys.
